Sample Review from BBB:
Interaction with PNF left me uneasy. Many questions left unanswered and a promised followup never arrived. This began with a mailer that teased low interest loans for debt consolidation. I responded to the letter on their website entering the “Pre Approved” code. I provided some basic information on the site and at the conclusion, was promised a call back in the next 24 – 48 hrs. A confirmation email was received promptly warning that the promised call would be coming from a 646 area code (New York) even though PNF is based in South Dakota. “Max” called within the 48 hour window and took more detailed personal info and at the conclusion said he would be sending to their “underwriters” for review. The following day, “Max” indeed called back NOT with loan details but, rather, a debt consolidation product and very few details. He was anxious to encourage me to accept the terms (0% “interest”, cut up the cards and damaged credit for 6 months) but I didn’t have enough details to make a decision. Then “Max” provided an odd disclosure, that he actually represented **************** in Jacksonville, FL. How did we get from a loan with a North Dakota based company to a NY phone number to a law firm in Jacksonville? Not sure, but I asked for a copy of the sample agreement which was promised by e-mail. This has yet to return. I HAVE NO IDEA WHO I GAVE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO!!!
